Innovation, sustainability, people: our DNA

ChorusLife is the most important urban regeneration project carried out in recent years in Bergamo, and one of the most significant in Italy. Developed by Costim Real Estate, conceived and championed by the Bosatelli family on the initiative of Cav. Lav. Domenico Bosatelli, founder of Gewiss who passed away in June 2022, the project required a total investment of over 400 million euros.

ChorusLife has transformed the former “Ote” industrial area into an innovative smart district on the edge of Bergamo’s centre. A project that reclaimed and redeveloped 70,000 sqm of land, with works extended to 150,000 sqm including infrastructure and urbanisation works, such as the long-awaited ring-road overpass from the Seriana Valley and the connection with via Serassi.

The project, designed by architect Joseph Di Pasquale, represents a true “prototype”, an innovative model of urban regeneration based on criteria of urban, economic and social sustainability.

ChorusLife’s economic impact on Bergamo is significant: the over 400 million euros invested have to date generated a total value for the area exceeding one billion euros, employing over 2,000 people who contributed to the project, with an average daily presence on site of 300 workers. Looking ahead, ChorusLife will create 500 new jobs.

01. Urban Regeneration

We start from the recovery of disused or abandoned areas to give them new life and return them to society. Here people can find a new, barrier-free place where they can live, meet, take part in events and choose from a wide range of services.

02. Innovation

We redevelop our districts to make them smart, through the application of advanced technologies both in designing the entire area and in developing its activities. The same activities that, through the ChorusLife app, will connect people to every facility or service.

03. Sustainability

People are the pivot of an urban format designed to improve quality of life. Hence the choice to build smart districts capable of protecting the environment around them, with solutions aimed at self-produced energy and reduced emissions.
