GNAM – National Gallery of Modern Foods Opens at ChorusLife: Bergamo’s New Gastronomic Hub

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, ChorusLife opened GNAM – Galleria Nazionale Alimenti Moderni (National Gallery of Modern Foods), a new urban food and wine hub.
This is a project that turns Italy’s culinary heritage into an experience to live, tell and take home, born from a joint venture with Finlatt, a Bergamo-based company founded by Luca Guerini and Francesco Maroni.
Located at Via Carlo Serassi 26, within Bergamo’s Smart District, GNAM represents a new milestone in ChorusLife’s evolution.
A new opening that adds to the district its heart dedicated to flavor, food culture and the promotion of local supply chains.

GNAM: a journey into Italian culinary excellence

Conceived as a true gallery, GNAM interprets Italy’s food and wine heritage as a body of knowledge to be displayed, made accessible and shared.
The Orobie valleys are the starting point of this story and the first area from which it takes shape. From the mountain cheeses to the artisanal productions that define Bergamo’s culinary tradition, local heritage becomes the starting point of a journey that gradually opens up to all of Italy.
The goal is to create a dialogue between local excellence and the finest expressions of Italy’s different regions, creating a space where food cultures and regional traditions can meet, compare and be shared with the public.
A place within ChorusLife in Bergamo where the product is not simply bought or consumed, but understood, told and celebrated through a direct relationship with the producers and supply chains that create it.

Inside GNAM: eight areas telling the story of Italian flavor

GNAM’s journey unfolds across eight themed areas designed to interact with one another and offer a complete view of Italy’s food and wine heritage.
These are not simple departments, but spaces designed to tell the story of products, regions, traditions and supply chains through an immersive, contemporary experience.
From the selection of raw ingredients to tasting, from cooking to the culture of craftsmanship, each area helps build an ecosystem dedicated to the quality, discovery and promotion of Italian excellence, turning the visit into a true journey through flavors, stories and people.

Cheese Shop

A selection that starts with the excellence of the Bergamo valleys and extends to the finest interpreters of Italian cheesemaking tradition. Alongside the refrigerated take-away section featuring already portioned and packaged cheeses, there is a central counter designed for:

  • tastings;
  • product storytelling;
  • meetings with producers.

Bakery

Bread, focaccia and baked specialties prepared daily following the principles of artisanal tradition, with particular attention to:

  • flour selection;
  • proofing times;
  • processing techniques.

A place where the scent of freshly baked bread accompanies visitors throughout the day, celebrating quality ingredients and production methods that respect the natural rhythm of preparation.
From focaccia to regional specialties, every item is born from the meeting of artisanal know-how, careful ingredient sourcing and contemporary taste.

Pastry Shop

Thanks to GNAM, ChorusLife gains a sweet offering designed to accompany every moment of the day, from breakfast to the afternoon break, right through to dessert.
Great classics of Italian pastry tradition sit alongside contemporary creations that reinterpret ingredients, techniques and flavors in a modern key.

Delicatessen

The delicatessen inside GNAM offers a selection of around fifteen excellent products, designed to tell the extraordinary variety of Italian cured-meat tradition, from the most iconic specialties to niche productions tied to specific regions.
Cured meats, hams and artisanal preparations become a way to explore food cultures, production techniques and supply-chain stories that span the whole country.
Alongside Italian offerings there is also room for some prestigious international specialties, such as Spanish ham, as well as a selection of vacuum-packed meats.
A department that celebrates the quality of the raw ingredients and the wealth of expertise that has defined the art of curing meats for generations.

Deli / Food Hall

The deli section is an area dedicated to those who want to take home the GNAM experience without compromising on the quality of ingredients or the care of preparation.
Ready-made dishes, seasonal recipes and GNAM signature specialties are made by selecting ingredients from the supply chains featured throughout the gallery, turning them into offerings that are practical yet full of character.
An offering designed to combine convenience and flavor, bringing the same attention to quality, local roots and food culture that defines the whole project into everyday life.
