We start recovering abandoned areas in order to give them back to society. Here people can find a new and barrier-free place to live, meet, socialise, feel comfortable, and choose from a wide range of services.
We start recovering abandoned areas in order to give them back to society. Here people can find a new and barrier-free place to live, meet, socialise, feel comfortable, and choose from a wide range of services.
We redevelop our districts to make them smart through the application of advanced technologies, both in the design process of the entire area and in the development of its activities. Through the ChorusLife app, these activities will connect people with spaces.
People are at the centre of an urban format designed to improve their quality of life. Hence the decision to build smart districts capable of safeguarding the surrounding environment with solutions that aim at energy self-production and reducing emissions.
A company for innovation
ChorusLife is the most important urban regeneration intervention carried out in recent years in Bergamo. Developed by COSTIM, conceived by the Bosatelli family, at the initiative of Cav. Lav. Domenico Bosatelli, founder of Gewiss who passed away in June 2022, the project required a total investment of more than 400 million euros.
ChorusLife transformed the former “Ote” industrial area into an innovative smart district on the outskirts of Bergamo. An intervention that redeveloped 70,000 sqm of land, extended to 150,000 sqm including infrastructure and urbanization works, such as the long-awaited bypass overpass from the Seriana Valley and the connection with Via Serassi.
The project, by architect Joseph Di Pasquale, represents a true “prototype,” an innovative model of urban regeneration based on urban, economic and social sustainability criteria.
The economic impact of ChorusLife for Bergamo is significant: the more than 400 million euros invested have generated a total value for the territory that exceeds one billion euros, employing more than 2,000 people who have contributed to the realization of the project, with an average daily presence of 300 workers on site. ChorusLife will create 500 new jobs.
